Maybe they just don't know... Or maybe it's cus they don't need to, UK folks are festival crazy at the moment, Glastonbury regularly sells out 100,000 in hours when the headliners are still rumours.

I could put a turd in a jar and call it a festival, I'd still get 5000 16 year olds turning up in the hope that Foo Fighters might play.

Of course I won't, finally something else than all those neo-psyhchedelic/hippie/folk/droney/weird bands, not that I'm complaining.

Besides, NA is pretty essential, right? Or just legendary?

anaconda

classic and good!! but it has been 20 years since they broke up, so who knows for sure?

Haggardsue

wont they be REALLY old now? not that it bothers me but hardcore punk from really old will be strange.

Haggardsue

ps MC5 are playing with Mark Arm as lead singer, from the sublime to the ridiculous. I can't fucking wait to go to butlins! Not alot of people can say that with a straight face.

Hell no, saw Seein' Red playing yesterday, a Dutch hc band with all members in their 40s and they were incredibly fast. Burial and the Japanse band Nightmare were also on the bill.

And Now Dinosaur Jr are confirmed. I am Happy.

Nice, although I've seen 'em two times already in the past year. They might start recognizing me as the guy who ruins every show by screaming 'PLAY GOING BLIND!!!!!'.
