No, your buddy saw Yow's stand in.  Yow's bodyguard looks very similar to him, and often subs in for him on the exhausting choreography moves.

ah, well i cannot vouch for my buddy's perspicacity. i only relay what he told me.

also, in reference to the guy who said something about a song he didn't know, apparently you are correct, it was "chrome" which was performed by the jesus lizard, but is a medley of two chrome songs.... although at the moment i can't recall for certain which... i think 'tv as eyes' and 'abstract nympho' from "half machine lip moves"...

PBR seems to have always been the beer of choice for both the youth-of-nausea and the working class in georgia, where i grew up. also, i have noticed an equal amount of purblind foolishness and knuckle-dragging violence on the west coast (in california, washington, and progressive portland, oregon, where i live now), possibly even more. in general i always found the athens crowds to be nothing less than average, if not generally better-than-average.

Mmmmmmmmmm Hamms'.  One of my best firend's alcoholic mother used to drink gallons of the stuff.  She'd hide cans all over the house from her husband, and in high school we'd go on beer hunts.  Almost never failed to scrape a case together.  They'd be under the couch, behind the cereal, in plants, you name it.  Good times.
