No, I was at one of these shows in Petaluma, CA, and Joe Preston was playing bass (he was wearing a bathrobe if I remember correctly haha).

Thanks for the article. So I guess that pretty much confirms it. I laughed at the section where Shirley describes the music of the Melvins as "raunchy". Yeah, I can just see her sitting down and listening to Bullhead or Lysol.
