I can only get in to like two tracks from the mark d album.  The Clown Alley record I own, circus of chaos i think it is called, is ok for what it is though

Thrones and Cows reign supreme over this stuff.

perzo)))

i was listening to this at work today and a co-worker was really digging it.i'll burn it for him tonite.
Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

I think Mark D, Kevin Rutimanis and Joe Preston should start a new band together. They would fucking kill.

I heard some of Silent Treatment a while back.   The song I heard just sounded like 80's music to me.

I never knew what happened to Mark D.
I thought that he just went back to producing.
Or quit the music biz.
Then I saw the hype this spring, regarding his new one
(Brief Sensuality And Western Violence).
I ordered The Silent Treatment CD-used on Amazon,
for about ten bucks, shipped. Worth every penny.
I listened to it all spring, repeatedly.
It pretty much is the 4th Atlantic album, like these guys say.
Or, as close as you can get, without Dale & Buzz.
I should state for the record-that Stag is my favorite Melvins album.
Mark D was the bass player on the first 4 Melvins shows I saw.
His other stuff is great, too. I've just been dragging my ass on getting those,
because it's only available on vinyl or download ( I like CDs).
Will order soon, though.  8)

I bought those l.p.'s. Mark will sign anything you buy. Bandcamp is a great place to buy music.
I loved the albums. Bought his split single w/o The Asound. That rocks. Both songs.

Got it for $8.99, shipped.

Here's his European record company, Rock Is Hell. Solid Outfit. Crybaby (member) runs it.

I ordered their compilation album, Even Worse Than Expected.
It has an exclusive Mark D track, The Tail. Killer song from the Silent Treatment sessions.
I bought the last copy from Mark. I think that Rock Is Hell still has it.
It plays like a great college radio station. No commercial  :bs: !

Another reason to buy these records is the handcrafted artwork and attention to detail in vinyl, itself. Jennifer Deutrom is an incredible artist.

He has a series of videos animated by his wife, with his music.
