I think BFPT was meaning that part where he's talking 'bout passing out from heat at gigs ... thou I read it as "before he started using ... a fan". It's worded kinda weird an I guess could be misconstrued. But that's what I thought ... a fan.

Yeah, I read it this way, as well. But the image of Buzz being strung out is so much more rock and/or roll than the image of Buzz being too warm, so let's just pretend he's talking about heroin.

Yeah, I thought Buzz meant that this incident where he passed out happened before he started using a fan. He started saying that it was before he had a fan onstage, but he interrupted himself to point out that he currently uses a fan. That's how I took it.
