Umm, back on topic.. I think the Melvins version of Teen Spirit is very close to the original. I don't listen to it a lot though,
but I think covering it was a funny idea. The vocals are god awful...

EDIT    But I do need to check on that.  I heard that it's at the WOW Hall in Eugene, but the tickets and internets says John Henry's.  I'll do some private investigating.  The WOW Hall is all ages.

the obvious dimensions of dale's kit and the tone of the bass make it (for lack of a better word) deeper. i definitely dig it more than the nirvana version.

that being said, i never really liked Nirvana, so i usually avoid it.

dave grohl had the same size kit as dale crovers.
