I was one of those folks taking pics.  Here's a taste:

I have more where that came from including Toshi, equipment, and "experimental shots"
Very cool, what camera did you use? Flash?  Lens?  Thanks!

I used a 10 megapixel rebel....no flash, no special lens.  All manual.  I'd like to post the rest to the archive....sent a message to the webmaster.
Thanks for the feedback guys!  You're making me proud.

It might've been an accident. Everyone was spilling their beer, but someone had ice in their cup and I saw it fly up front and land at Buzz's feet. He looked down at it and looked into the crowd. I thought he was going to say something (and I kind of got excited), but he didn't.

Earlier in the show, some girl in white crowdsurfed right over me and ended up sitting right on the barrocade. Jared and Buzz were both staring right at her and she had to get her boyfriend or whoever to pull her off the barrocade back into the crowd.

Hello. A few days late, but here is my review. I left home the day of the concert at 6 am and 12 hours and 5 vehicles later I arrived at Houston, Texas.  On my way I had the chance to stop at Waterloo records in Austin  and I picked up the new Beck cd. Great store.

My brother picked me  up at the bus station and after a quick stop at his apartment we departed for my second Melvins gig and his first. A short line of people had already been assembled and not before long doors were opened around 8 . Apparently many people got their tickets through some Camel promotion and even inside they were giving away cigarettes.  So right away we headed to the merch table  only to be a little disappointed . I was expecting the devil shirt or the nude with boots cd  or some of the older Big Business cd

Cheers for your review, looking forward to the pictures! :)

finally back home, but the show was great.  the wife even came along and was stoked to see it.  she is not a melvins fan by any means, but had a great time and was even talking about it the next morning in a good way.  MUSICAL VICTORY!  tripping the lion was best of the night and boris.  dies iraea was heavy along with my generation.  i really do not like eyes flies, but it was way wicked too.    the girl crowd surfing was funny, she did not want to be there you could tell.

i hope it was bad lighting, or buzz had some white make-up on(which I highly doubt), but that boy need some sun.

i recorded the audio for all three bands, but have not listened to it yet.  will post it over at dime in the next week or 2.

I'm always kind of suprised when new fans are put off by songs like Eye Flys. First time I heard it I was taken aback. I'd never heard anything so...heavy!

The Anti-Vermin Seed is this song, but better in every way. It's not like Flys Eyes is bad, but I'd say it's among the worst of their drawn-out, atmospheric things.  But I'm relatively young, so it obviously wont have the same effect on my cynical, post-Earth ears as it would to the old timers who heard it way back when.

Also, Eye Eyes has a beat. It goes dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun-dun-dunn-dun-dUnb-dun-Dunn-DAN-dun...

i've been seeing the melvins since 90 or 91, so no i'm not a new fan.  I've hated and liked them...tastes change i guess.  just like eye flies, i used to not care for it, but now them playing it live me likey much better then before!
