I was just listening to the end of Cow and I didn't want it to ever end. This got me thinking how much I would enjoy an album full of just him going off like that. I'd blast it everywhere, through the subwoofers, while showering, walking to my mailbox. It would be wonderful. What do you think?

how about a dale and coady duet album?

although I'd prefer dale solo.

but imagine that,  a roughly 45 minute, 12 (or so) track album of dale and coady playing off each other.

oooh, the goosebumps.

When I heard Cow for the first time I was completely blown away..

A full length Dale solo drumming album would be awesome. Pure drumming. Plus a couple of Coady and Dale drum duel tracks.  Oh yeah..
Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt.

Centripetal core of soul sojourn the field vibrates to absolution. I climb toward the sun to breathe the universal.

Have you seen the bridge?  I ain't seen the bridge!  Where's that confounded bridge?!

I'd prefer a Dale/Buzz on bass album, just to have some structre to it.

I think I'd just appreciate his drumming more that way. What Dale does with a rhytjm compared to what any other drummer would make of it, is beyond me. There just has to be *something* he can talk to, you know? On the other side, that can be something unhearable too, like his own demons on Spread Eagle Beagle for example :D It sounds like a man fighting in the dark.

I still think this album of Haruki Murakami's The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles captures my feelings about Dale on Spread Eagle Beagle on Houdini 2005 best:

ever heard of Drumb?

Ah, hadn't heard of this before, just looked it up. I'll have to find it somewhere. A full length would be great though.

Look up his contribution to the Flyin Traps compilation called Vomit & Orange Juice

That looks really cool, I'll check it out. Thanks.

I see what you're saying. You might not realize how awesome a certain rhythm is until you hear a riff go with it. I really like the idea of something like the end of cow for a while album though.

Spread Eagle Beagle is too, but I think an album full of the more rocking drumming would be glorious.

Why the hell did I type 'album'? I meant to write cover, it's a book.

I'm reading it right now. Into the second part now, Okada just went down into the dried out well.

Liking it a lot more than dance, dance, dance.

the song "vomit & orange juice" on this compilation is the same as the drumb 7"

No more than I'd want an all Buzz guitar album.

It's like pizza. Sure mozarella is ok alone in small doses (in this case, Dale's solo on the end of Cow, Divorced) and I guess sauce tastes good with spaghetti instead of pizza (fantomas) but in the end, only the combination of mozarella, sauce and whatever type of bread will result in the delciousness of pizza, that cannot be matched.

I second the Buzz on bass Dale on drums. I'd wager that Buzz wouldn't want to seem like he was apeing Big Business, but I think it'd be cool. His guitar work has always been on the rhythmic, heavy end.

Buzz on bass would be very cool.I've seen him play an entire set playing bass and it was very cool.
