Anyone have a link to download the b-sides?  I have 'em all, but it would be nice to just download digital versions instead of going through the hassle of recording them all off the vinyl...  Pretty please?

tape them off the vinyl dude.

you can't get better quality, unless you put it to open reel (or 8 track would be decent)

you're lucky you still HAVE your 7''s !!!

if you know what your doing with a good tape deck, use high bias position 11 cassettes (use 60 minute tapes because the tape is thicker than 90's) , the relatively subtle flavouring of a decent deck and you can cook a pretty awesome recording.

you need some accessories for your tape deck like a demagnetizer and a bulk cassette eraser.

clean the heads regularily especially if playing vintage tapes from the 70's, they tend to be a litte bit more "flaky"  but it's the only way to go.

a good Solid deck from the 70's is your best bet, like a teac 360 S (2 track) or a ferrite head sony deck will be better.

I swear by my Hitachi D-E1 tape player, it's laster for a decade and was under 10 bucks at a thrift store, can't go wrong with tapes.

oh and keep them stored in ziplock bags when possible.

Been thinking about the H.A.T. Tour. Dr. Geek live was amazing. Buzz's hands moved faster than I thought was possible. Need to find some YouTube...........

Metalhead Cow

I really hope they play some more HAT material live within the next few years.  [-o<
This might be my favorite Melvins album.

For years I considered Stoner Witch to be my favorite, closely followed by Stag, and Hostile Ambient Takeover. Lately I'm not so sure... HAT very well may be my favorite. Perfect record indeed.

The Anti-Vermin Seed is indeed wonderfully glorious.

It's about time someone proclaimed the greatness of that song. I think it would make for a fantastic set closer!

they played it live on the HAT tour.   when a track like that captivates live you know magic is abound.

Are there any good quality live recordings of it?? I'm salivating right now, I thought they had never played it. And forget a set closer, I think a better Melvins approach would be a 30-minute version to OPEN a set.
