melvins torrent tracker....

i was just curious if anyone knew how much it would cost to set one up?
i know that one of the rekrek(qotsa's forum) members made one for QOTSA that is really nice.
i just know everyone is probably sick of my bitching about dime. and i was seriously considering setting a torrent site up in 2009.
let me know and suggestions or help is appreciated.

In all good sense it seems like it would be appropriate for the Melvins to have a dedicated torrent site judging they're the band that they are and we being the fans like we are going crazy over all the live shows and what not.

What is wrong with Dime?  I have been there since day one and have never had any issues (other than a lack of HD space).  A melvins and related torrent site sounds good, but do we have enough people to support it (maintain seeds, etc.)?  The Ween browntracker and the zappateers tracker are pretty good examples of trackers dedicated to one band and their related entities.

i sent an email to the lady who runs the QOTSA tracker, because i like the layout options and have never had problems with torrents from it.
so we will see what happens.

I would not set up though, if this is actually gonna happen, it should be set up and managed by someone who knows what he is doing and has experience with it, or else it's doomed to fail. Almost a decade of internet technology experience speaking here.
