Kind of pointless since there's at least a few people who've heard all of it, but what Melvins albums/7-inches/releases have you yet to hear?

For me....

Ozma
26 Songs
The Bootlicker
The Crybaby
Pigs Of The Roman Empire
Melvins vs. Minneapolis
Both the Jelvins albums
Singles 1-12
hell, just about ALL their rare singles really!

You ought to get busy listening to some of those
instead of posting threads. The Bootlicker especially.
The one and only....

P.O.T.R.E. is one of the best, It's on heavy rotation at my place, but you really should get Ozma asap.

seas of luck

POTRE is classic!  Get it ASAP!  Then Ozma and the Jello Biafra albums if you like Jello Biafra....and The Bootlicker...and The Crybaby...and all of it....

But to answer your question there are really only a few Melvins singles I haven't heard and I can't think of them off the top of my head.  I know one time Mark Prindle mentioned to me that he needed their "Spit It Out" single but actually it's not even the Melvins.  I'd still like to hear it though.  I do wonder where I could get it... 8-[

Not heard:

HAT singles (ironic since that's my favorite album)
Alive At The Fucker Club
Singles 1-12
Prick
The End (Glen's hoarding them all so I can't get my hands on one)
Pick Your Battles
Rare singles

That's all I'm aware of.

Man off that first list you've got to get Ozma, then POTRE, then Bootlicker.  Then the rest when they come your way.

Singles 1-12 has about 80% crap, but the five or so songs in there are amazing. Leeech is the best reordered live song by the band I think. Not to mention Specimen which sounds like nothing ever before.

26 songs is a must as well...

get cracking man! you'll be glad you did. really, really, really glad.

only things i haven't heard are the Jelvins releases...kind of weirds me out.

I would love to hear Melvins version of Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More.  That's the song that got me into Mudhoney.  Does Buzz play with a slide?

(the) Razor

There's a video on Youtube with Adam Jones using a slide on Ballad of Dwight Fry, I was thinking how much it improved that song. Melvins with a slide would be a nice touch.

But I'd like to see Piano's again in Melvins albums. Yes Pianos...look back at the Atlantic Trilogy and even Honky and tell me the piano does not improve those songs!

Specimen is really good.  I don't know why it wasn't included on an album.

in my opinion 0%.why Adam Jones decided to play a slide guitar on a great song where the slide guitar usually doesn't exist? :?
