I liked that first down record a long time ago.  I still like EYEHATEGOD and most of Jimmy's stuff, so I am interested in this. 

The big melvins have great potential to turn out a wall of sound unlike any other line up of the band that I can think of.   

A whole show of stuff like what they used to close the 07 shows would be fun.

i think this pairing makes perfect sense, buzz likes to throw curveballs
at his audience. so when you least expect it they go and decide to tour
with an act like down. there's great potential here for more crossover
to another demographic. watch them tour with slayer next! pretty soon
they will have toured with everbody's he's talked shit about in the past:
jello, anselmo, slayer, etc...
