I was right next to you for the first few songs of the second set.  I'm assuming it was you.  I had the camcorder.  Left when one of the hippies got in front of me and started blocking my view.

Ok here's the setlist and a slight review:

Buzz and Dale took the stage at 7:30 sharp.  John Henry's is very small, but the place was maybe 1/3 full when they started.  This pic is from the end of the night, but gives you an idea of the size.

Set 1  Buzz and Dale only on songs 1-7

1 Dale drum intro/Ballad of Dwight Fry
2 It's Shoved
3 Let Me Roll It
4 Suicide in Progress
5 Oven
6 Black Bock
7 Let God Be Your Gardner

Jared and Coady join

8 POTRE
9 Talking Horse
10 Bloated Pope
11 Dog Island
12 Dies Irae

Break

Set 2

13 Dies Irae cont'd  ( I decided to move from the back of the venue to the ramp.  My hard drive shit out on me while filming so I missed the rest of Dies Irae.
14 Billy Fish
15 Mr DNA
16 Anaconda
17 Zodiac          ( Decided to move back to the back after some Eugene hippy got right in front of my camera. )
18 The Kicking Machine
19 Civilized drums into Blood Witch
20 Hooch
21 Smiling Cobra
22 With Teeth
23 Night Goat
24 The Bit ended by a Jared bass solo/noise fest/feedback and 5 minutes of great Dale/Coady drums.  They ended the drums with a bit of posing and fist bump.

This is a good venue to see a Melvins show, just not a great place to film one.  The video isn't that great, but I should be able to pull a couple of songs to post on Youtube.  It was pretty damn hot in there, but not near as hot as the Sonic Youth show in Portland a week ago.  But shit, twenty four songs!  Twas a damn fine show, and was even nicer to get home around midnight due to the early start.

Ilduclo, I have a CD with all of my source jpegs (no edits) for you.  I'm out at a client T to Th, but in the office Friday.  Maybe then?  If not, I'll be back to Eugene from Moscow, ID, on Aug 31st...

Nope, that was another board member.

This show was totally great. I could not have asked for much more. I know that sounds lame, but fuck it.

As far as the two sets thing, I'm gonna venture this guess:

they had a 45 minute set worked out with the BB guys to play for the Down tour.  That's not enough for a headlining show, so they added the duo stuff from the 25th anniversary tour and threw in a few extra's at the end of that first set to stretch it out since without the few other songs, it would have only been about 22-25 minutes.

I'm d/l pics and getting the set list straightened out right now.  I'll have some posted shortly.

**EDIT

Here's the new shirts

damn, i should have asked you to get me one. :(
