I like Down ok but if the Melvins and Weedeater hadn't have been opening I never would have gone.  Danava, or what ever their name is, was listed on the bill but didn't play.  Weedeater was super sludgy and heavy.  The played an interesting cover of Synyrd's "Give Me Back My Bullets"

Buzz and Dale walked out on stage to the A-Team theme song and just started playing.  Cody and Jared came out at the end of Fry
Buzz talked a little before Anaconda and said Thanks at the end but that was about it.

At the end of Down's encore during "Bury Me In Smoke" Dale took over on drums and Cody and Bower stood on the edges and all of them had a full on drum freak out.

Thanks to Rev Mike for some help with the setlist.  I'll be posting my recording pretty soon.

too far.  the drive would be a bitch.  unless of course I do cut-zies through cananda. and that won't be happening.

I will however be at the detroit show.  not really pleased with the whole "dale and coady join down on stage at the end" news becuase now I'll feel all guilty and like I'm missing something when I bail out after MELVINS.
