I'd be even more blessened if the Baton Rouge collage of sound is released as a live album.  Chicken switchen.  Nutria itchin.  One you want, the other you don't.  I tried to sit in the back of the Beautiful Spanish Moon, but as soon as the marching drums started, I was moved to salute my way up to the front.  Funny thing too, after the show, I met a fellow fan who had recently recovered from a severe case of encephalitis and had been held up in the intensive care ward in a coma for 3 days!  What an opener!  This after listening to the DJ play some Devo, Hendrix, and other great tunes.
That led to a delightful double set where Dale, Cody, and Jared drove the force whild Buzz was bouncing around in a music box and running the effects.  The first round of magic ended with a switched up Dies Isrea.  I was disappointed when they didn't get to finish the song. . . . . . . . oh but did they ever finish it at the beginning of round 2 KACHOW.
I could swear I heard some chromian, buttholian, melvinus jam session happening.  Try dropping pearl bombs while eye flying but not before you exorcise a little!  Hands up, my all time favorite Melvins show!  Thanks for 25 years and happy anniversary!!!

I signed up just to agree - this show melted my face! I've only seen 'em twice before, but this show was by far the best! No opening bands? Fuck yeah! And what a fucking setlist!

I feel sorry for everyone who has to see them open for Down with only one set!

Tell me about it!  They had to have played and touched upon 30 songs at least!  I also learned that evening that neon light is not hot to the touch.
