I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.

looking forward to hearing what Indianapolis thinks about Melvins. not sure how many fans there are, but Down should draw a big crowd.   Drunken rednecks playing "metal" to more drunken rednecks= $$$
What would a woman that fine want in a big, fat, nasty, greasy, fat, stank, bloated, cheesy-backed, 12-sandwich-eatin' bastard?

Turn around mister, and never trust a girl giving her donuts away for free.

The Melvins love Indianapolis. I saw them there when they were with Jello. Buzz had nothing but good things to say about it. And no, he was not being sarcastic.

Sweet, that is cool. Wish I could have one of the posters from that show being as I never got to see them play my hometown(Indy).

First off, Indy can kiss my ass. I never got so lost in all my life. And the vogue is kind of a shitty venue to boot.

Anyways, Evil Army cancelled. Safe to say their tour is done. Funny tht they're still selling merchandise.

Weedeater would go perfect in concert with Bongzilla, and they were sick to say the least. Lots of fun to watch Dixie Dave do tons of goofy expressionisms, the highlight was when he played rock-paper-scissors with the drummer while the guitarist riffed on. The last song they played was Weedmonkey.

The Melvins? It was great. Coming out to the A-Team theme. I was standing to what looked like an anorexic Kimbo Slice who was loving every minute of it (And left after they played). The Melvins skimmed through a very good set. Their performances of Anaconda and Night Goat left me absolutely floored. Seemed short, and during Night Goat Buzz unplugged the guitar and stormed off while Dale & Coady went into this looooong drum solo while Jared made tons of bass noise.

As implied, the Vogue was packed and 99% of the crowd was there for Down. Down themself were alright, but the fans are douchebags. I left halfway through and even then I didn't get home til' 2 in the morning.

I got a feeling Louisville's show will be better. And not just because the venue is 130 yard away instead of 130 miles.

Melvins' setlist was the following:
Pigs Of The Roman Empire
The Talking Horse
The Bloated Pope
Dog Island
Dies Iraea
Billy Fish
Mr. DNA
Anaconda (With a real lengthy intro, lots of killer double-drum work)
The Kicking Machine
Civilized Drums
Blood Witch
Hooch
The SMiling Cobra
Night Goat (With a long drum/bass outro)

Melvins were only selling the Eagle t-shirts in L/XL, 25 apiece. And autographed drum pieces.

Believe me man, I said the same thing about Indy for 25  years before I moved;it's a shitty town and  there are really no good small venues for bands to play in Indy because NO ONE good comes to play there(except Melvins from time to time). When I lived there I either had to drive to Chicago, Columbus, OH. or Cincinatti just to see a good show.

Oh dear.  Hope he's alright!  Just a bad moment I'm sure.  He is human after all and a perfectionist as well (judging by  his music).  Only 3 days left to tour!  Hang in there and do yo thang!!!!
On a different note, I'm flabbergasteded that there havn't been more postings on their AMAZING double set!

You'd think Buzz would have more sense than to punch someone with his money maker.

I'm curious to know more about this. Did Buzzo get into a fight with someone?
