Not a double LP, mine came nicely warped because the jacket is pretty flimsy, the vinyl is maybe 120g, and it was shrinkwrapped tight as hell.  Sounds fine.  Everybody wanted a basic, no frills, Melvins album on vinyl, you got it.

No one really did, just a statement based on the following quote from interpunk : Melvins -Nude With Boots (Red Double Gatefold Vinyl) LP

it's a gatefold cover, but a simple lp. People might have misunderstood because of the gatefold.

I didn't bother picking up the cd in the hope a vinyl release would come our war. The cover is great too!

120 grams is a bit sissy though.........it should've been 180 grams of virgin vinyl pressing goodness!

Yeah, I could tell by picking the fucker up it was a 1LP. I'm listening to it now and I don't know if it's my record player, or the production, or the translation to vinyl, but it has a vintage-esque sound to it. The drums are the only thing that sound really crisp. But I really like how it sounds so far. Definitely worth the 17 bucks.

That, the Baroness cd, and the Nirvana re-issu made for GREAT birthday gifts. I remember getting Lysol for my birthday one year (2006) and wrecking my car the next!

a quick google says that the only mention of a double vinyl (not double gatefold) is on this very site

the Melvins have a few dates coming up in the U.S. in addition to a European tour late this fall which the dates are still trickling in for. Keep checking the Tour Dates page for updates. In addition to that, Ipecac is preparing to release Nude with Boots on red double vinyl on November 3rd.

I ordered mine on Amazon UK. They just emailed me to say this:

Edit: Interpunk charge $22.50 postage to Europe on top of the $14+ for the record itself. That is utter bollocks. Found one new on ebay, $17 for the vinyl and $7 for postage. Aaaahhhhh, that's better.....

warped as fuck!! im at school so I wont be able to play this until im home for turkey time. hopefully its not so warped that it wont play.

the packaging is pretty flimsy too.

im a little disappointed, but i guess a you cant get a high quality Melvins LP for $15...
