also..  sometimes I think the contents of an album can reflect positively on the artwork.  like you think the art sucks and then you hear the album and you say "okay, I get it now. the artwork actually fits".   so I am thinking if this is the artwork it will "fit". if that makes any sense.

that was just a  stock photograph that they bought. its not an original cover made for the melvins.

yeah, I hated the POTRE album cover before I actually listened to it. after that, I didnt mind it at all.

but still... this album cover is pretty bad, and the title kind of has... a cheesy attitude to it.

buzz has a thing for retro-wierdness.   alot of the song titles over the last 10 years have come from freaky sci-fi television shows, etc.
I think this is a direct refelection of that.  it has an old-timey feel.

And for the record, I think this cover is fantastic. It looks like
the cover of a magazine or something. Very editorial type feel to it.
