This is my favorite release since POTRE.  Lot's of variety, yet still unified.  Lot's of tasty bits in the details.  Lot's of little things going on here and there.
ah,that's true!nice guitar in your avatar btw

Metalhead Cow

I think The Bride Screamed Murder is my favorite Melvins release since Hostile Ambient Takeover. I fucking love it!

After the first listen of the new album I am completely floored.

This band is so good.

jaymz

Listend to it a few times and still not sure.

Captain CoryCory

I wonder who said it sounded like Maggot meets ASA?

Realistically, it sounds more like HAT meets ASA. Which is still very good to me. Two songs sound more like meatier Big Business songs to me (Electric Flower & Humanity and Death)

I think it's sounds different than everything...but I would say it has more of a Stag meets HAT feeling.

Evil New War God reminds me a little of the bloated pope, While Inhumanity and death Remind me of Saftey third.

Hospital Up, classic.

Best pop-oriented song by them in 10 years or more
easily. Harmonies on the 'hey remember ' part are
so addictive.

I also love the lyric at the 2:00 min point where it
goes: "giant penguins silly, tear up filthy airwaves.."

End of discussion.

Uncle Fester

it sounds like your mom.

I cant beleive how catchy this album is.

Mad Arab

I hear bits similar in sound with NWB. The slowed down cover of My Generation hearkens to the Lysol album. PGx3 is a nod toward Honky and Pigs Of The Roman Empire. It may be the Melvins Revolution #9. 4...4...4...4...4
I'll Finish You Off is an epic power song in the Civilized Worm vein. I hear bits that reminds me of Stag, The Maggot.
