So apart from the lovely artwork do we get extra tracks or anything?  It just seems stupid buying a box of cds I already own for the sake of new artwork.

Exactly Angus. Don't waste your money on this rip off just because it's collectible unless you want to take your chances and resell it on Ebay to make your money back and then some. If you own all those albums already there is no point.

Now if they took all their severely limited edition b sides, rarities and covers, remastered them and put them on a double CD set, that would be great and something we would all want. You could even have some snazzy Mackie artwork included. But like Buzz says, the world is not perfect. You have to settle for crappy,  expensive 7 inch rip offs and whatever else you can find on Ebay.

Perhaps a box set of just the artwork at a reduced price for those who want it, for example?

Waste of money my ass. This isn't just any band, it's THE Melvins and as far as I'm concerned this set is one of the coolest things that they've done. Hand made with love for your enjoyment and packaging that's not just some fukin' plastic piece o' shit, it's art....and you all should
sell your blood until you have enough to buy one.....IMO.

You all get PAID to give blood? I thought that was just in the movies, like telephone numbers that start 555-.
We just get a buscuit and a cup of tea, and then only if we faint!
Mackie should print the next CD artwork with OUR BLOOD.

It is a waste of money. If all you get is repackaged albums, it is a waste in my opinion. You go ahead and pay a premium price for a repackaged The Bride Screamed Murder among the other repackaged past albums. I'll pay my $13.00 to $16.00 for the regular packaged CD on June 1st.

The Melvins should release the rare songs on another cd, and make more money off of that, otherwise they're going to lose sales to people downloading the unreleased songs.

They look pretty, but I just can't justify spending anything for it.

I just hope there's some left by the time they get to Seattle next month.  Or that they sell some online.

I want it, chances of getting one though are slim for a UK resident.
Goes whenever they are here
