Information:

Krist Novoselic, Buzz Osbourne ( From The Melvins ), Kurt Flansburg, formed a band called Stiff Woodies, use to be anyways, back in 1986. Rumors are the band also included Kurt Cobain & Others. Had very few songs and only performed once at the The Pourhouse in Aberdeen, WA.

buzz osbourne (melvins vocalist/guitarist)...
a pre-nirvana krist novoselic (bassist)...
and kurt flansburg (radio dj/guitarist for various bands)...
and is rumored to have also involved kurt cobain (come on now...)...
dale crover (melvins drummer)...
mike dillard (melvins first drummer)...
and matt lukin (original melvins bassist/one time mudhoney bassist)

has anyone read the book "Grunge is Dead" by Greg Prato?  It's worth picking up. Anyway, in the book Dale mentions the Stiff Woodies and said that Cobain was involved in either playing guitar or drums and mentioned there was a radio show of them floating around which I assume this is it. and the name was modeled after the Limp Richerds which at one point both Mark Arm and Steve Turner were a part of

was reminded of this stuff in an e-mail recently, loose and breakdance boogie videos are mislabelled on these youtube vids, no idea who actually played the various instruments on this stuff(which is what the e-mailer was asking me)
