Huh? I'd bet they won't be heading east again, until the next album comes out. Cleveland/Toronto was the closest. You snooze, you lose.
Seems like a cool thing. Alot of jazz groups do that, residency gigs at clubs. Spaceland is in LA, which is their hometown. Maybe they'll be honing some new material, or digging up some not-heard-in-a-long-time classics.

I twitter they said every night would be a different show, which I assume means a new set every night but with The Melvins you never know.

Opps sorry Pinky i stand corrected!
Don't apologise. She'll see it as a sign of weakness and you'll never be safe again  :)

Definitely going to road trip one of these.  I guess tickets go on sale through Ticketweb on Saturday.  Curious to know how much they is.

Dr. Sphincter

Tickets are technically $20 a pop, but then there are the usual fees...

However, if you're a cool kid like me, you would go to the last date they have, where there is the secret MELVINS MONTHLY PASS ticket option, and you will get a pass to all four shows for $60. After fees and standard mail shipping, mine came out to $68.50. I may have some money left over for merch after all!

The Melvins will practive material all week and then play it on Friday.

If it's different stuff each Friday I hope they record every second of it and release it as a live concert series. That would be great, it would save me a bunch of travel time.

I'd like to see them play Claude live after all these years.

I forsee good things from this 1 month run.

a looseness not normally associated with MELVINS live shows of late.

Or, choose the best recordings of the newer stuff from the four shows and do a double LP live album.

How do I get one of those posters ?....lil help here.....Pinky ? anyone ? Bueller ?
