I say if buzz were the last man standing then yes.  if dale were the last man standing then no.
I have absolutely no reasoning behind that.

In a way i would say the opposite. I do think they would both continue on whoever was last around tho. Certainly if Buzz called it quits today im positive that Dale would still drum in Shrinebuilder, Porn, The Warlock Pinchers, maybe some Big Business gigs and quite possibly be more active with Altamont. Equally if Dale retired i think Buzz would still continue in the Melvins with Jared and Coady. Maybe we'ed see him solo more often like that guitar scuzz thing he's doing soon. Its only a guess but i'd bet that they're both in this for life, or at least as long as health permits.

Well yes it certainly wouldn't be the same but Coady is one hell of a talented player and im sure he'd be capable enough to hold his own.

yeah kurt suggested it. Kurt ran to buzzos house very late one night, banging on his door and throwing pebbles at his bedroom window until buzz woke up. before telling buzz the awesome idea for a band name kurt offered buzz several cupcakes as an apology for waking him up so late. then they drank lukewarm tea with cream and biscuits until kurt remember why he went all the way to buzz's house in the first place.

thats pretty close to accurate except for the way I heard the story it was scones they ate and not biscuits as previously reported.
