It's astonishing how far you're willing to go into semantics without replying to anything else I said.  Piss off.

Don't go spitting the dummy on a forum because you made an ass of yourself, mate.

I'm the one who is calmly and happily answering any question you have so long as time permits it.

No its not. There's such a thing as "Left Libertarianism" -- distilling it down, it means the same as right-leaning libertarianism on some things, but the main difference is that it believes in restrictions on markets because left-libertarians feel that an unregulated market can actually do some of that harm and restriction of freedom that right-leaning libertarians believe won't be a problem. A left-libertarian agrees with his right-libertarian counterparts on matters of personal freedoms, such as abortion, drug use and generally agree not getting involved in stupid wars that have no bearing on national security. There are some on the "left" that identified with that aspect of the Ron Paul ideology, but are not for other aspects of it.

Yes it is as I showed and most people understand. Libertarianism is of the Right. Left-Libertarianism is a left-wing version of it some ideals I subscribe to on a social basis but not Libertarianism in general for the reasons I listed on the other page.

It's astonishing how far you're willing to go into semantics without replying to anything else I said.  Piss off.
ahhh the ideal liberal mind!

Hey dude are you going to any of the Georgia Big Business or Harvey Milk shows next month?
I had hoped to make the torche show but I blew all my cash on boxsets and shenanigans. Someday I'll make it down as I have a very good friend in Athens always trying to talk me down.

It has become my firm belief that the liberal mindset is not to change the minds of their opposition but to simply shut them up, as evidenced by the flow of argument on this thread from the first page on. That is sad. Due exceptions to bigval and concert freek.

I have a little more time so I'll comment on this.

Libertarianism is of the Right my friend. That Penn magician is clearly a right-winger and it's obvious he's a Libertarian.

For arguments sake let's go ahead and say you're 100% right here.  He's a right-winger.  Who cares?  Can we move on now?

small government (hate welfare for the poor)

In my own personal experience I've seen the system abused and misused beyond belief.  I strongly believe that most people on welfare really are lazy and don't want to work.  I've seen it myself and it's inexcusable in 2011.  Even homeless people can go to a public library and access a computer to try and figure out something to do with their life.  They could walk up to every store in sight and simply say, "I'm homeless and I need help.  Will you help me?"  They could even go to a church and have them help them out.  I'm a pretty hardcore atheist but if every other idea simply didn't work and I needed to eat I certainly would go there for help.  Apparently you have no problem with me working my ass off to pay for these people who refuse to do work.  That's morally messed up to me.

tax minimization/tax evasion etc is IMO morally bankrupt.

I have a feeling that this is going into healthcare.  Why else would you think someone who doesn't want to pay taxes would be morally bankrupt, unless you want those taxes to pay for war.  Truthfully I'm completely divided on healthcare.  Half of me would love to help people who need it, and one of my many goals in life is to open or strongly support charities for people with social anxiety, schizophrenia, and women abuse among other things.  These are people who truly need help.  They don't need the government to pay for a broken tooth, but I digress.  The other half, as I was saying before, knows that the system will be abused.  I've had exchange students and every time they would get a slight headache or something they'd want to go to the doctor forgetting that they have to pay for it here.  Also, life expectancy in the USA is 36th in the world out of 194 countries.  Things aren't as bad as everyone wants you to believe.

I also strongly believe that anyone marching on the streets to get healthcare has their priorities out of order.  How about we end the war on drugs before we get healthcare and spend even more money?  How about we stop giving money to the police department so they can scare the shit out of you with their , "wear a seltbeat or we'll bust your ass" commercials?  Here in Georgia there is a commercial where about 50 cops are just standing around doing nothing except for staring into the camera and scaring the shit out of you.  Shouldn't everyone be more pissed off that our tax dollars are being used to scare us?  What about abstinence programs?  Our government spends millions of dollars every year to tell people not to have sex!  It's completely insane.  If we stopped wasting money on so much crap like this then you can talk to me about healthcare and I'll be listening with full attention.  Oh yea, and our taxes would be even less even with healthcare.

I love watching you idiots put each other in labeled boxes. Coke vs. Pepsi, Ford vs. Chevy, Liberal vs. Conservative - enjoy your labels lemmings!

Braykfast

HEY. Penn Jillette doesn't appear too morally bankrupt at all.

Also; I don't think Liberals try to get their opposition to shut up rather than changing their minds. I also don' t really understand what goes for a liberal these days, either. It was easier to figure out when it was tossed around as a synonym for 'faggot' during the Bush presidency.

Anyone here ever read 1984 by Orwell? Remember the Two Minute Hate channel they all had to watch?

And punk rock is music. Ann Coulter is tone deaf. But if you find musicality in her illuminating presence, then Anarchy in the UK, brother. Rock the Casbah. Wait a minute...if Green Day offends me, are they punk rock? What about Taliban fanatics? Are tehy punk rock? They are pretty offensive. What about Black Militants and Flat Earth Society members? Punk Rock? That terrible music in elevators?

Ann Coulter "offends". She is punk rock. That was punk rocks point, just as that was rock and roll's  point at one time.  Green Day is a pop band.

Highest rated news channel. You have one 24 news channel that features conservative shows and then you have NBC CBS CNN MSNBC among others and you are complaining. Maybe Fox News meets a demand? Could that be why they are the highest rated news channel?
It's got nothing to do with them being "conservative" Yes, the rest of the mainstream news outlets are shit, but Fox is that extra evil paint peeling kind that you drop like maybe once every other month where you swear a demon must have crawled up your butt and died.

Everyone reading this please (if you don't already) check out www.democracynow.org for daily news casts from around the world brought to you by people who actually care about you as fellow human beings.

It's got everything to do with them having an alternative slant, thats why they are sooooooo terrwible.

WTF is a Plutocrat, someone who still says Pluto is a planet?
Hail, not fail.

John Galt is Ayn Rands wet dream. Atlas Shrugged was a great book (what what!) and should not be brought up when Ann Coul(ter) is being demonized. Where was I? Oh yeah...Ann Coulter is not punk rock. She's the Westboro Baptist Church of Celebrity Punditoids.

Punk rock is a Flying Dog Double IPA. Ann Coulter is a Diet Fanta with lime.
