The Melvins are capitalist pigs living off the blood of the proletariat.  They'll be the first motherfuckers up against the wall when the revolution comes.

 Rev. Mike preachin' the communiques from the comintern

I am so happy you read that, comrade.

Metalhead Cow

So all of a sudden it's announced that we're going to be hearing a new Melvins song... TOMORROW! Totally cool. I love the title "The Bulls & The Bees", and I love "National Hamster"

National Hamster: A Marathon Listen

I think Melvins have been checking out the bbs anagram threads, and everything scheduled to be released this year will be written in code.

I predict it's going to be the best year ever to be a Melvins fan. We got this, FREAK PUKE, and a possible documentary via the Lite Tour  [-o<

Their worthiness is well overdue, and 2012 is their time!!!!

Just in time for the end of the world. Fuck the Mayans -- MELVINS!

They gave Chicken Switch a higher score than any other album of The Melvins they've reviewed.

buddy holiday

now that's good news to start the day with!

(((O)))

On the album sorry EP title i think The Bulls & The Bees could be SEEN to be a comment upon Scion (or the music industry or indeed listeners) itself. Instead of the familar term "the birds and the bees" it is changed to Bulls. Much tougher, larger animals capable of doing much more damage. Is the bull the band, the label or those who listen to the music? The fans perhaps? I hope this doesn't signify that the album is bull****!  8-[

i didnt know scion cars existed until now.
I knew they make cars but only fairly recently discovered so. For the longest time i thought they were just a music festival like Roadburn or ATP since they have the annual Scion Rock Fest. Great line ups too.

Pitchfork? Ugh. What a bunch of sellouts. I'm selling my collection and I will never listen to Melvins ever again.

Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

My post wasn't meant like that at all, more the other way around. What is Pitchfork doing promoting a band they consistently trash? Especially when they could be promoting such wonderful acts as Arcade Fire, Weezer and Bon Iver.  :-&

I know exactly what you meant, and agree wholeheartedly.
Promotions are promotions though.

I'm imagining Dale phoning the executives while listening to LuLu.
