I went with NWB but its a close call with (A)SA. I still think Bride is really underwhelming tho. A couple of decent songs but kinda half assed for me. Oh and Sugar Daddy is pretty great actually but i dont see that as a "proper", proper album.

It was the opposite for me! Took me nearly a year to really warm to Nude.  :lol:

Someday i really should listen to them back to back just to make sure.

No way man!! Alive... has some good songs in the set but the sound quality is terrible on that release.

I'm still waiting for their heaviest album yet. Maggot and Ozma remain to be my favs.

maybe top 5,but it's very hard with all those epic albums. is it better than Eggnog/Lysol/Maggot/Bootlicker/Bullhead/Stoner Witch/Stag?

Yeah i know what you mean i just wondered whether you held it REALLY high up there. The Maggot and Stoner Witch would be my two picks personally.

NWB is probably my favorite Melvins album.  ASA ranks in the top 5.  BSM doesn't but I still love it.
