I'll be picking this one up at my local hole in the wall, along with my ticket to see Battles on Saturday.

Yeah, you know you're jealous.

perzo)))

make friends w/your local record store owner, youll get everything a week before it hits the streets.
Again,a gorgeous tragedy approaches,in the wake of those thought contained. But sonic reverberations shake the very marrow of the fragile chamber of mans lifeforce, and again the minions quiver in fear,as daylight fails to come, and Melvins walk the battlefield, bored and hungry...

Dan_Halen

That's no fun...that's cheating!!! lol  :P

(My best friend got "In Utero" almost week before me because his aunt knew the record store lady. I was insanely jealous!!! Saddest part is that one day in the not so distant future kids will ask, "Daddy, What's a record store?"
:(
Los ticka toe rest

Mount Ambulance

Other than the recent (last 5 yrs.) AmRep vinyl releases; every Melvins 12"/10"/7"/Boxset/CD/VHS/DVD I've bought since 1987 has been purchaced at the same inde record shop ...

This one will be no different

I suspect I'll drive over on my lunch break tommorrow. So as to be ready to crank it on the deck after work as I bbq some huge ass sirloin burgers.

Indeed, 30 or so yrs. shopping the same shop has it's perks ... they usually have things in about a week early ... and then so do I! Though they slept on this "Freak Pube". So, Tuesday it'll have to be.

Back in the 90's when me and my buddies were dropping every last cent we had there (i'd say I spent $50-100 in there every week or so for about a decade) they used to just lend us the used cds we couldn't afford so we could burn them ... cool cats!

Metalhead Cow

I'll be picking it up at Newbury Comics tomorrow.

Chomas

Hortense

Holy Rattlesnakes and Turkey Buzzards!!!!!!!!

this Freak Puke tastes good.

Will most definitely be picking the CD up at my local store End of an Ear Records tomorrow.

:microwave:

Tommy Goes Beserk  =D>

EvilNewWarGod

Sonofabitch, cock sucking, crack smoking, child raping, asshole licking, communist fuckhead bastards from hell!!! My copy wasn't in my mailbox when I got home a few minutes ago!! I know it shipped on Thursday, so I figured it would be here today, but hopefully tomorrow. Oh well, back to the streaming site for another 10 or so listens.
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.

Greasy Statement

where in town do you go? rotate and soundscapes have been pretty lax on getting things in on time...

Way to rub it in, Glenda.

No word on mine.

I have not listened to a single track. I've gone this long without doing so and I absolutely refuse to give in.

:(

the bass sounds real nice.  especially on track 1, mr. rip-off.
hard to believe there is no bass amp.
beyond that I'm holding off on getting too mouthy until I give it 6 or 7 solid listens.
it has its moments, of that you can be certain.    its got a thin, creepy vibe.

Nice. I'm getting ready for work and just played BABY WON'T YOU WEIRD ME OUT. That's it. No more.
Forgive me Father for I have sinned

My response to it? Very awesome, but it won't sink in til I take the album in as a whole ten times at least.
I'll say this....it kind of felt like a HAT track :)

I forget my dad has Alzheimer's and doesn't know who I am anymore. I forget all the bullshit and just enjoy this wonderful treat that is Buzz,Dale and whatever lucky bastard(s) they hired to make this album.

Sorry to hear that mate, I hope you really dig the album.

Weird question, is this the first time that the album is not only named after an album track, but also has the words in the song? Fucking sellouts
