nope, it had been gone for around 6 years or so before then. it was some sort of clothing store by that point, i think.

can't wait for the cd to get here so i bought it on itunes, Leon vs the revolution did not work, it at first said corrupt file, i contacted them and none of the suggestions helped but now it says i need to authorize my computer then i do then it tells me it is  authorized? but still wont give me the song??? again waiting to hear back from them, last time i reported a problem it was because Wino was spelled Winno in the Wino & Conny Ochs heavey kingdom , i sent a msg just to let them know it was hard to find so the refunded my money, thought that was pretty cool

Ok after many listens to the album Freak Puke, Worm Farm Waltz is one of the greatest songs i have ever heard!!! the last half of that song is amazing, the bowed bass work is brilliant right after the line "we hear things all the time that are not there" (and i can hear that with that bass line with a really heavy distorted guitar and pounding drums, oh man i can see great variations of this song performed live) and the noise at the very end is killer!!!  AAAAAAHHHHHH THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen to that fucker on Worm Farm Waltz at 1:26. That. Is truly a powerful instrument... you can just feel all of that air being forced out of the hollow body.

As predicted I Love this fucking record!!! For me the stand outs were Leon Vs The Revolution, Growing Disgust and I LOVE the McCartney cover! They do such a great version of it.

OK, having given it a couple spins this evening, I have emerged from my cone of seclusion, and one thought reverberates in my headbone: This album rocks. Better than rocks; it rules. I've been wanting the melvins to depart from the arena-rock groove they've been in for the better part of a decade, to do something left-of-center -- which for the melvins means something that even a seasoned fan would scarcely recognize as being from the melvins, a la The Bootlicker but NOT The Bootlicker.

Freak Puke is that something.

My favorite song thus far: "Tommy Goes Berserk."

Freak Puke really is great. Here's some scattered thoughts:

-I love it whenever Buzz says "cowboy" in Leon Vs. The Revolution
-It's really cool to hear how Trevor uses the stand up bass in each song. The bowing is really fucking cool in Holy Barbarians. Holy Barbarians has a really great vibe. It makes me think of Honky and The Bootlicker.
-Speaking of The Bootlicker, the vocals in Tommy Goes Beserk remind me of the vocals in Prig. I get a big Prig vibe from the first half of this song, even if the two songs don't really sound alike. Is there acoustic guitar in Tommy Goes Beserk? It sounds like it to me, and I think the only other Melvins song with acoustic guitar is Prig (and Cottonmouth)
-Dale's brush playing in Mr. Rip Off is great.
-I really love Buzz's guitar solo in Baby, Won't You Wierd Me Out. I get the sense that it's very loose, and will probably be played differently each time, but the version that came out on the album is really great.
-Love the contrasting vocals in Baby, Won't You Wierd Me Out
-the drum, bass stuff in Baby, Won't You Wierd Me Out is awesome
-I really like the sound of bowed bass and the general sounds that are possible from stand up bass. This alone, makes Inner Ear Rupture a great track to listen to.
-Inner Ear Rupture reminds me of Pick It N' Flick It.
-I like the the high pitch vocal overdubs in Freak Puke (the song). It sounds kind of psychotic. This song kind of reminds me of The Stupid Creep, only better.
-The middle section of Tommy Goes Beserk is quite Sonic Youthy.
-Tommy Goes Beserk joins the ranks of Up The Dumper, PGx3, Skin Horse, Prig, With Teeth, and others, that to me are kind of uplifting sounding... I don't know if that will make sense to anyone but me, but yeah.
-I love it when Buzz says "mollusk" in Tommy Goes Beserk

I think Freak Puke is going to be my album of the year.
I was a little worried that Trevor would over-use the bow, but turns out, all the bowing that he does on the album is really super.
I hope they play a ton of this album on the upcoming tour.
