Years ago, if I'd have come home drunk from a Melvins gig and I went to sleep before I'd written a review and posted photos, I'd have been thrashed, and quite rightly so.

Well, I haven't posted here in a long time...but I was at the shows the last two nights.

Reaching into my hazy memory, I believe the set resembled something close to this:

That's probably off in a few spots but it's overall what I remember from both shows.

Merch table was packed full Walsby at the helm keeping a diligent eye on the goods. Swampy at the poster table. A limited copy of Mackie printed GPT cd. Cows and U-man 12 inches. $20 bucks each. I should have got them but then I would want the entire set and I just can't afford that right now. An AM Rep poster, a metric shit ton of original Walsby stuff. Totimoshi/Melvins split, Unsane/Melvins, and loads of t-shirts.
Need to get beer before 2 am back later.

I hear there's some pretty bad thunderstorms rolling through SF right now.

By the time I got through will call and then the entry line I was soaked. I figured the place would smell like the yak cage at the San Diego Zoo but it didn't. If this was Eugene the body odor would have been unbearable.
