The last guy to really get Buzz a' swayin'? Looking at the old footage, Buzz was pretty animated pre-Biz. Saw them two times since and he's been very in place. Not that I'm complaining persay...just missing the old reckless days.

The times is a changin'

you gotta roll with the punches.

that whole;   BB with melvins is a black eye, Dude, It's not true.

Check out a band that COMPLETELY re-invented itself in it's own Creation.

and STILL KICKED THIS MUCH ASS WITH AS MUCH;

TESTICULAR FORTITUDE AS THIS!!!

never thought the actual Stage appearance of the drummers would one day mirror a Two-headed SWEAT monster with four slimey tentacles A -flying!!! (just like album cover art, of the days of yore)

the Senile animal Record is Triple platimmumumum kryptonite as far as what it took to make.

Rutmanis is a whole other can of worms and just don't forget he had a good run!

DAMN DAMN GOOD RUN!!! made it longer than any of his predicessors (SP)

The melvins are musical Camels, crossing the vast Barron-deserted dunes of the modern musical Zeitgheist...as always they are also the Oasis from which we can draw upon for our very own creative sustain. (not unlike Jack blacks 'Rocket sauce' analogy of Rush)

Big business, I can't think of better dudes for the gig.

It fits like a gardening glove.

Dale is a champion and Buzz is a warrior!

Jared and coady are serious BAD-mothafuckas!!!

A bass player that can also keep up to Buzz on Vocals is like a godsend!

and I got to REALLY tell you.

Those "BB" men, really brought out the best in the veterans.

I mean, study how much Senile animal started to hint of CLassic melvins riffage and chops. and so on.

Nude with boots is a triumph, honestly it is the most stripped down and yet complex album if you come at it on a VOCAL standpoint, all of it, the guitar the drums, all revolve around the vocals.

I think a little bit of that HAD to come out of Jared and coady discussing their Favourite melvins parts.

It's un-mistakable...

It's like meeting your hero and spurring them on to new heights by reminding them of who they truly are.

but I might be dead wrong.

I just know I'd do the same thing If I was bored one night and Buzz was in the kitchen russlin' up a porkchop sammich.

things would turn to sentimental Arbitrary nostalgia in no time.

I'd be like, hey you remember that one drum fill Dale does on such and such?
and that time you went like; *air guitaring a Buzzo signature riff* ...and it's salt like that that sets off the flavour of my barbecue juice! yeh well we should do like a Tip of the hat to that riff in this new song were working on...etc..

so on and so on and so on...

Possibly. Even tho he often stays on the spot, he does still move and sway around alot to the music. He's still into it. Or at least that's my impression.

Leroy

why do so many on here hate TBSM?  The weirdness/random keyboard playing/etc really doesn't take up much of the album at all.   The riffs on Electric Flower and Pig House are arguably some of the best from Buzz in years

zippy

My favorite of all the BB albums. TBSM is the nuts !

Lurch

so do you like tbsm or not?  :-s

I like the one where he's playing Manky  - never seen him so animated. It's pretty funny looks like he almost trips over a couple times.
