sweating like crazy is one thing, but the heat from wearing the mumu plus the lights...that is brutal.

really good show tonight in winnipeg.

dropped about 10 pounds of sweat just standing there. felt like the equivalent of a sweat lodge purification (i imagine). also was high from sleep deprivation. and booze.

no merch, sadly, other than 2 shirts. one with a bleeding pig and melvins printed at the waist, and the other with 3 skulls inside a flowery design (think someone posted a pic in the reviews thread where i should have put this). both nice, bought 'em. guess i'll have to order the CD afterall. dude said they didn't even bother trying to ship stuff across due to delays. apparantly the shirt's were printed in and shipped from toronto.

retox's sound was kind of a mess.

thats still a genius Way to do it...they had to make shirts for the 2000 toronto show also.

I see that now and it changed my way of seeing bands and tours then.

Call a few days in advance and get it done.

as for retox, nice guys but I guess Im not gonna lie, they arent my thing exactly..I would have to listen to their albums before I get into them, stuff I could almost classify as Girlfriend metal or something maybe, the guitar player really likes his digital delay pedal.
Not my thing but at least they rocked out and showed up, better than last time the melvins played Toronto.
