Had a late start driving to Madison so I only caught the second half of Tweak Bird, but more unfortunately, didn't get to the bank..........  so I wasn't able to purchase any merch, sucks being too busy to plan ahead.  Although, showing up late I had a unique encounter with Dale on the empty patio outside, just a "hey." but fuck, the melvins in town = great vibes.

Brilliant show, great sound, loved the extended instrumentals.  The set seemed really quick, but overall a great show. High Noon is a great smaller venue, perfect for the melvins.   Love the trio !

my melvins midwest trip began with my girl and I flying to milwaukee then driving to madison the day before the show. enjoyed great beer and food spots like alchemy and malt house. I saw the madison show as well as the chicago show.
I think the madison show was slightly better. not as rowdy of a crowd, the melvins seemed a little tighter and the improv/solos were longer and better. I could be wrong but I think they left out the senile animal track at the chicago show?

Before the melvins started some guy hanging out by the side waiting/band room saw trevor come out and spotted buzz in the room and started yelling for him like he wanted to suck his dick. Then I see him run in the room and seconds later dale was pushing him backward casually out the door. lol.

I've seen the melvins over 20 times since 93' and they still amaze me. Trevor absolutely owns on the stand up. I would say he almost steals the show at points.
