I got a nice little snap pie that I'm gonna file away in my blackmail folder.

I should think I'd be on your good side right now.

Oh most certainly.

all I ask is that you never tell the levels of degradation I have sunk to in order to put a smile on your face.
(don't worry JUDY this has NOTHING to do with you.   :))

Other than the maui wowie that Glen and I shared, I was sober enough to know that my shoes stayed on my feet and I went no where near Dale's drum-kit. I'm innocent!

Did you give him your painting??

Coulda. Shoulda. I was too nervous.
You'll have to do it!  He'll love it.

Missed opportunity. I won't be making it to Cleveland tonight  :(

Dumpster D

Yeah, Trevor Is a super cool cat.

Just talk to him.

I really didnt want to ask him the same Old boring things; about his Bass and his playing style etc..stuff he probly hears asked at every show. If you get just talking you can mention that you made some Art you wanted to give to him, Im sure he would be Flattered.  I saw Artists Approaching Trey spruance and showing him their Sketchbooks, Stuff they werent gonna show ME!!! haha. He was genuinely interested. anyway, Trevor would probly like to see your Artwork.

Trevor probly knows a lot of 60s movies and music.

Like I would ask about thunderball, and why they named Their Second Bungle Album after the ship; disco volante from that film. (Mr. B used to Cover the theme of Thunderball live too if you will remember)

Glad you guys finally caught the set!

pretty much, DO NOT MISSS A CHANCE TO CATCH THESE SHOWS!!!!

apparently more of the clear ones are being shipped to new york, melvins had limited space in their touring van to fit all of this different merch. surprise surprise the instruments and underwear won out over the limited edition records

Shit, that's the day after I am going to be seeing them, I wish they could have just gone commando for the tour!!!. Anyone know if Bulls & Bees is totally sold out or if the band is just out?

@ Judy, don't worry Trevor isn't "The God" just "A God"  :P (Groundhog day related)
Los ticka toe rest

Ron Maiden

i had a blast. Tweak Bird was great and the Melvins smoked. It was like an old classic melvins show with out the bass noise of Kevin. The opener was great. The shit off Stag was awesome. it was a good time.

got to see jozzy for a minute, hung with erica and glen for a short bit. too short. next time.

fun though.

A second Freak Puke letter press?

There's a Freak Puke letter press, and then there's a million different versions of a second Freak Puke letter press.  I don't think I've seen a similar one yet of the second version.

Hahahahahah! That photo is awesome!

I wrote a review, then decided it was stupid and didn't want to post. I ramble a lot when I write, and this is why I should stick with photography and drawing. I will say that I was just in total awe the entire evening. When the MIGHTY MELVINS are performing in front of me, there's nothing I can do except just stare - completely transfixed. They're absolutely mesmerizing to watch! I can hardly even cheer. I'm the dork that shoots googgly eyes, crooked smiles and gives golf claps after an awesome song. I probably giggle a lot too. Awkward, awkward giggles.

One last photo :

I could be wrong, but I remember reading that some were being shipped out to Scion?!?!?! Not sure if they plan to restock on the road again. If they do, grab one for me! We can work out some kind of swap  :D

Oh! Also! I noticed Dale was drumming with a bunch of different brushes. That was really cool to see!!!

"97.3 percent of what I see out here consists of the inside of our van, fields of corn, backed-up traffic, and the bowels of rock clubs — usually just the dressing room and the stage. If there is a decent bathroom backstage I may not even leave the dressing room all night. That's what happened last night in Detroit. It was cold in a crappy neighborhood and just the thought of moving seemed uncomfortable. So after load-in I made a sandwich with turkey and salami, sliced up some tomato with a plastic spoon, kicked aside an empty mouse trap and sat down for a lovely one-course meal in an unkempt, dusty "green room." A pit bull yelped in the distance. A side of chips and salsa rounded up my carb intake. My doctor says I need more salt and carbs in my diet so I pile that stuff on whenever I can."
-Trevor Dunn

Dang, even Trevor is piling on.  Hamtramck isn't even in the top 10 of Detroit's crappy neighborhoods.  and cold? I think "brisk" is a much better way to describe that evening.   :x

All things considered, Detroit is pretty large... so yeah, Hammytrammy is definitely not the worst of it. Still, there's no denying that it's a shitty neighborhood. Cold? Hardly. Try Harpos, Melvins! Ever see a guy laying in his own filth and blood at a show? Then surely, you've never been to Harpos. (kidding! Please! Don't ever go to Harpos!)

By the way, it was Trevor that wrote that article. I had a gut feeling I was going to read something along those lines. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel my heart sink into my feet for a second when I read that paragraph, but hey... it was half expected..

My studio area (soon to be former studio area) is right behind the second photo shown in the article.

I wonder what they had for dinner. Polski food, I should hope!!!
