I'm in Berlin, going to get some dinner and off to the show....    fuck yeah!!!  can't wait!!!
Why say no to drugs when you can say yes?

Michael Jordan

what a great night! and to think that tonight it happens again with bullhead and stoner witch...  it's just too good!

Great show, great venue, crowd, energy, setlist, you name it....  last night was pure magic. The first part was better I think, they mixed songs from Lysol and Eggnog, then took a 10 minute break and came back to blast Houdini.
I think tonight is gonna be even better!

Not much merch from those who count on it...

Cool! Some guy on eBay still has a ticket for sale for 1 Euro for tonight's show (and one for last night's too!):

For me it was the other way round. The Eggnog and Lysol part was very good already, but Houdini was fucking rad. Didn't expect that.
Stoked for tonight!
Keep your Arsch together, Sie werden seitlich gefickt.

Opening with Charmicarmicat into Hung Bunny was just too fucking much.

Oh right and all the merch they had were the new shirts (same as Lite tour) and 2 silkscreen posters.
According to Gareth, the vinyl couldn't get done in time.

What vinyl was he speaking of???
The 9 Clowns of the Apocalypse records and the remaining Sugar Daddy splits, presumably.

Helen83

Now the 9 clowns....are these the Sausages tunes split into singles?

Great night once again.
A few crap-ups here and there but nothing major.
Buzz's goldtop was acting up (as it has been doing since Leipzig) so they played Queen twice.

Bullhead was amazing. Zodiac and Your Blessened were live firsts for me.
Buzz sang some vocals on Lividity - repeating "How does it feel, redneck?" over and over.

They are playing the residency shows on a rented backline (different from the one they store in Bristol - Gareth drove that one back after the Lite leg ended) which resulted in a somewhat stale guitar tone (Marshall rig). It kinda lacked the width and brilliance that Buzz's Carver/Sunn/Orange rig provides. Especially on day 1. Tonight was a little better. Overall, the sound was pretty damn good. Festsaal sounds great and Dave did a good job.

To be fair, I did have the feeling that Coady was kinda lacking. He was sort of following Dale, more than usual, and seemed a little hesitant to lay into it full blast.
Of course Dale is the more experienced drummer and he's essentially playing HIS stuff. As much as I like what they do as a duo, the old stuff just belongs to Crover. That, and Coady's last Melvins tour was last year with Unsane. You can kinda tell.
But surely they'll be gelling like crazy come Paris.
