Is it weird that I get more excited about going to a Melvins concert than I do for some vacations that I take? It's going to be tough concentrating at work today, that's for sure.

ya no shit.     I've been "mailing it in" since tuesday over this show tonight.   I intend on skipping out early to get a head start. 
monday it was "leaving at 4".   tuesday it was "ok.. 3, just to be safe".   wednesday it was "fuck it.  noon, I'm out".  thursday it was "for the love of god man!  why am I still here???".   and then I'll get to detroit at 3 pm and wonder what the hell I am going to do with the next 5 hours.

PS:  I'll keep an eye out for you and Beer Destroyer.

Guys, I've got some bad news. Due to low pre-sale totals the Melvins have made an executive decision to forego the Detroit date. The band hopes you can make the drive to Syracuse. Looking on the bright side, at least you still have Kid Rock!
