Figured I would get this thread going.

Freakin' stoked for the show tomorrow.

Really excited to see Mr. Pinkus

   Who else will be there?

Thinking of wearing my bbs shirt so other boardies can say hi.

But I'm not sure if it would make me "That Guy"

I'll be there! Super excited. This will be Melvins show #6 for me. I'll keep my eye out for you, jonE5-I know I saw a pic of you here at one point.

I've fortunately been able to avoid the tour/setlist threads, so I don't know what the set will be tomorrow. Excited to find out!

Nice guys, lots of boardies up in Boston. Have fun and give us a full merch report please? I'm seeing them tomorrow in CT and I need to know what kind of financial losses I am in for!

It was my first Melvins concert. Dale Crover threw me one of his drum sticks. It was the best concert i've been to. Thanks for throwing me a stick!

Don't know if he reads this but thanks Dale.

Had a lot of fun.

Freakin spectacular show.. Got there early despite getting stuck in traffic for over an hour getting to Boston (It's normally a 3 hour drive without bad traffic) I brought my Wife (Her 3rd Melvins show) and a Good friend (His 1st)

The Marquee

Both vans out front

I met up with The Bayer Clan from next Door. They live just a 1/2 hour north of my, but this was our first in person meeting. Totally awesome people, we all got along really well. After doing our Merch thing and putting the stuff in our cars (Which is one of my favorite parts about the Paradise. They allow you to come and go like humans. You don't have to carry your merch all night) We grabbed some beers an chatted for a bit.. Then Honky.

They really killed it. Awesome seeing Dale play a different style. Cody came out for the last song..
Pinkus said that his Ex-Wife, and Son were there. (More on that later)

After a quick smoke session with the Bayers it was time for the main event. The set list was the same as of late..

The highlight for me was probably "Your Blessened" The jamming in the middle seemed to go on for ten minutes.
With Buzz slashing off all these bursts of noise

Pinkus definitely is adding a swampy, dirty, dark, element to the music that I really liked.

Quite a few of the songs seemed harder and faster than I had heard them before especially the Bull & Bees stuff.
"We Are Doomed" Seemed half again as fast as it did last year.. But that is somewhat normal for Melvins, the more they play it the faster it gets.
After "Evil New War God" They snuck in about 30 seconds of "AMAZON" which got me really excited for a sec, but it went right into "Lysol" Which killed. Then ended with "Graveyard" Which Buzz does an amazing Paul Leary BTW

Really Really cool part was for the Drum Jam/Outro after a minute or so Pinkus had his son come up and play the Bass while he played with the pedals making noise. Pretty cool watching him, proudly watching his son jam with the Melvins.

Lastly after the show I pushed up to the stage with the intention of trying to get a Set list. Some moron kid jumped right onto the stage grabbed a drum stick and tried to run off with it. Dan Raymond very casually grabbed him by the shirt collar and the kid couldn't even move.. Hysterical   Two seconds later Scott from Crom walked out to break down the drums, as he is taking Dales set list off he looked up, saw my banana shirt and without saying a word just walked up and handed it to me. Perfect ending to an awesome night.

My Haul (Minus the T-shirts)
