Gluey porch ...vinyl question

I picked up a copy of gluey at some record store for 30 bucks...and i was wondering if you guys know anything about its authenticity

now knowing the original LP came out in 86... it is out of print. i kinda figured it would be a bootleg or something knowing that..but what the hell

heres pics of the original issue..




and the 2 attatched pics are of my copy...ive noticed 2 differences in the spacing of the info below the tracklisting...and the other difference is the copy i got has made in micronesia in the bottom.

if anybody can tell me info about this issue it would be greatly appreciated :)

There was a recent bootleg printed; you'll find a lot on ebay that are still sealed.

some people are saying the sound of the boot is better than the original..
probably because it came from the CD. what do you think on the matter??

i'm not sure if your asking me or butthole, but this is the only copy of gluey I have (other than an mp3 d/l) and compared to the MP3's, the vinyl's sound is noticeably better, but that's just vinyl..its usually hard for me to tell a difference but i can sorta tell the bootleg's quality is slightly better.

Welcome..but do you think 30 bucks is the right price for this sorta thing? i thought it was a little expensive but vinyls are just larger and more expensive and i really dont know the rarity of this issue...it was sealed when i got it

well, a better sounding boot for 30 is more reasonable than an original for 100-150.  :P

P.S. I have some U2 boots that are worth more than the original vinyl so it all depends on
why you bought it. Supply and demand really.

I don't neccesarily like them. but alot of people do - and they pay big money for it!
my biggest score so far was $250 for a mint vinyl copy of U2 - Boy
