Yeah I know.  I don't care how big/small or what label music is on, as long as it's good it's good.  But ANYONE who has produced or recorded or done anything musically with Page/Plant and Bush doesn't exactly have "underground cred"....

Its how he makes money to make music. I enjoy his indie uberalles attitude. He hates mainstream because of the labels fucking over the artists. He's taking money for a job someone else could do, and someone else will do. At least by him producing an album, he is taking money from mainstream and brining back underground.

So what's it like down there in the underground? I have always wanted to visit, but nobody will show me the way. Maybe if I change me haircut and clothes to fit in I might be welcome down there...

I think that being "underground" isn't really "underground" if it's like a group of people trying to do things or dress a certain way to be in that group.  Because if it's that condition, it's still trying to fit in, just in a different crowd.  I think that it's more of a natural thing, like the Melvins music is underground by nature.  They're not doing it do fit in to a catagory or anything, it's just a sound that is different from the rest.
