Well, I just got my download code, downloaded, and it won't let me expand, says the file is corrupted.  :x

I had the same problem, 2nd attempt worked well - I emailed them to let them know, since they only allow 2 downloads, and they reset my DL counter.

Also I've liked them so far as well, got the Dumb Numbers album back when it came out - they even sent out a couple label stickers. I just signed up for their VIP (5 bucks a month) to see how that works.

Second one worked, that was a close one.

Their customer service is good too. When I ordered Dumb Numbers from them I received a warped copy.  They just had me email them a video of it playing and sent me a new copy right away.

I'm impressed with Joyful Noise as a record company - fast service, they use a great over-sized mailer, and they give a digital download code.

Same here. It's also the first vinyl that I have bought for under 20 bucks shipped in a long time as well.

Don't forget about the CANDY !!

glen

my DL worked just fine and dandy.

is it just me or is Dale's work on this completely obvious?  the timing.  the ribbon crash.    after 25 years patterns develop.

Couldn't get either download to work, I emailed them so hopefully we can get this thing straightened out.

Edit: just got an email from Joyful Noise, they gave me a new code to use which worked! Now I'm just waiting for the actual record to arrive.
Hail, not fail.
PS:  fuck him.

Yes the Joyful Noise folks are amazingly awesome in the are of customer service. Haven't tried the download code yet but love the LP. Only listened once so far but it was a pretty amazing musical soundscape journey. I totally zoned out on it. Great stuff!
Los ticka toe rest

I listened to it a couple of times and it's good stuff but I'm guessing it's better on headphones, but then again most albums are.

Got mine :) Sorry about the huge pics, posting from my phone.

This is totally unrelated, but I found this out a ways back when I was posting and it really makes formatting pictures easy in html.

So normally you hit the Insert Image button and it produces "[img][img]" (without the quotes obviously) and you usually paste the link between the two right.

So if you change the first "[img]" to "[img height=500]" it will force the image to be 500 pixels tall.  It will automatically adjust the width to keep the ratios right.

Anywhoos.... :nerd:

Idlehanz

So after seeing everyone get theirs, and mine hadn't arrived yet, I checked the order status.  Delivered yesterday it says.  I sure as shit don't see it.  So after one more look outside I see the tiniest piece of whit sticking out from under my doormat.  There it was, with me and the girlfriend stepping on it for two days.  Thankfully Joyful Noise know how to package a record properly.
