Well, I had never caught the references to the monkey man (Rolling Stones reference or just the monkey on one's back), and then the line about 20 bucks and being halfway cooked, but the one that really opened my eyes was "in the arm or maybe up the nose". I had never caught that before. The whole song is about being controlled by this other presence. Namely, dope, to my ears.

Really cool show, totally worth the six-hour trip. 'We Are Doomed' was especially cool in this setting. The EP is sold out. I know it's tough dragging vinyl all over the country, but on the other hand - I'M TRYING TO HAND YOU MY MONEY, I WANT TO HEAR YOUR NEW MUSIC. Take pre-orders, jeez.
