I know the conversation already passed but Stag actually has two covers in it...although they are loose covers, very loose.
Cottonmouth?

Yes, i'ts kind of a cover as it's only a riff but there is also Scarborough Fair in there as well.
The guitar solo of Purple Haze contains parts of Strangers In The Night.
Is that a cover?  :-k

What is a cover? Good question.

I think Cottonmouth probably isn't a cover, but Yacobs Lab is!

So far it's not doing much for me,I'll give it a few more listens, but I will say that toshi did a superb job recording it. This the best recording since stoner witch.

I've finally got the album on cd today but haven't heard it fully. I've only heard a wee snippet of each tune on iTunes. Tonight at some point I shall be popping on headphones and checking it oot.

Cheer up, you'll get yours before I do, and I live in the US. I'm waiting for the 2020 lp release.

Do you guys honestly love this album? It's not working for me.

I'm surprised to see that some of you are buying it online. Why not just go down to yr local record store and pick it up take it that you live close to one if not I totally get it

In my case it was cheaper online and would arrive before the shop stocked it. I can't remember the last time I went to a record shop to buy Melvins stuff.

Oh.

Yes I can. It was the seven Hostile Ambient Takeover singles. That was in 2003.

I think its great! It was really bold of Buzz to let the other guys write so many
songs on this - he rarely does that! Clearly he digs the Butthole Surfers.  :D

Hell Yes!!!
Listening on repeat all day and night.
More than any release, since I don't know, ever.
Part of it, for me at least, is how much I've missed the Buttholes.
Collaboration really works in my opinion.

I love it. Adore it. It makes sweet love to my ears every listen. Seriously though I think it's the bees knees.

(the) Razor

I leave it on repeat too. Last album I did this on was ASA or HAT.
