Emma Ruth Rundle went on around 9:30 and played a handful of haunting songs. I'm not HUGE into female vocalists but I dug her voice. She claimed that the Grog Shop might be her favorite venue to play in. Buzz went on shortly after 10:00 and played the usual stuff. Boris is a killer opener, especially when it includes Buzzo kicking a power strip that was on the stage. We ended up getting the Iggy Pop story, which everyone loved. After the show, Buzz stuck around for autographs, pictures, etc. I ended up getting a picture and two vinyls signed. Right before we left, there was a girl completely bent-over, puking in someone's front lawn. Good stuff.

If anyone knows what material she's playing, I would appreciate it. I always enjoy live music 100% more when I know what they're playing. I like what I heard on YouTube, so far.

Most of what she's performing can be heard here:  http://thenocturnes.bandcamp.com/

After hearing just a few songs last night, my daughter became one of her biggest fans.

Thanks. This one is haunting. I guess that's the one word that keeps coming up.

That one word sums up her entire set.  Don't miss it.

I'm pretty sure that this show was not on the 4th of July. It's kind of an important date, over here. Plus, people were reviewing the show yesterday morning. Just saying.  :nerd:

No problem. I was just concerned about the ill effects of ripples in the space-time continuum.  :nerd:
