New to the Melvins

Hey guys name is Jordan and I am new to the Melvins. Just started listening to them a few days ago and ordered a few albums, 10 to be exact, hoping to connect with some fellow fans but wanted to say hello

I like a lot of death metal, incantation, death, origin, suffocation, I like iced earth, sabaton, all sorts of bands I ordered ozma/gluey porch, Houdini, stoner witch, freak puke, a senile animal, Lysol, stag, Tres cabrones, nude with boots

Just was searching youtube one day and thought the name was kind of funny and remembered the artwork from somewhere, the music was pretty heavy and interesting and liked how diverse they are as a band

how old are you,  I heard of, or liked or listened to a lot of those bands back in Highschool you mentioned. but the Melvins were the one band I discovered on my own that I checked out that instantly became my all time favourite band. so Just go nuts.

I got out of bands for awhile and had a second wind, but always loved the melvins through it all.

Im into more oldschool stoner-esque bands nowadays.

That envy is a misconception, think for one minute all the vintage parts I am liable for that fail or break or wear out over time.

Reminds me...You got a 5A Style DPDT Roland Style Power switch for an old Roland PA 80 lying around somewheres...

I just saw Iced Earth and Sabaton in April-they were on the same bill as part of the New England Metal and Hardcore festival. I'm a big Iced Earth fan. I saw Suffocation earlier this year too. They're certainly one of my favorite death metal bands. You ordered some great albums! I hope you fall in love with the Melvins-they really are an amazing band. Welcome to the forum!
