^ so this is what they played, right? Why does setlist.fm list it as a lynyrd skynyrd cover?

All analog. Reel to reel. Fab Four. Little Deuce Coupe. Under My Thumb. Who's better than the Funk Brothers? No one!

Because that's every Skynyrd song wrapped into one but better.

judging from that photo (http://rocksubculture.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/the-Melvins-Concert-Review-Live-2014-Hold-It-In-Tour-Photos-Photography-Setlist-Sacramento-Assembly-Music-Hall-062-RSJ.jpg) I would say that was not 'you're my best friend', but 'your blessened'.
That's actually what tasteslikedirt said on Facebook. Makes sense.

fuck yes.

that makes me very happy.

They were playing that on the 30th anniversary tour and it was the highlight of the show for me.. So Good!

POTRE was a nice intro. About 3 - 4 minutes long. They played riff A, then riff B. Dale thrashed out an out of rhythm kind of cadence. Very lovely. You lost me on the Fang thang. Is that a joke?

Peto Wilson

Yeah was a good set, Cornelius aspergers & the bi-curious unicorns was the opener. Dave Chavez (verbal abuse) sammytown, Tom Flynn (fang) and stark raving brad on drums. Not to familiar with the drummer as much but overall was a good set, different from what you'd expect from all of them together more rock than punk in a good way, worth looking into!
Hates vinyl grit!

Hot Pants

oh duh. that was Tom Flynn too.

yeah i checked them out on uh soundcloud or something. it was pretty cool. not very Fang like obviously, but it sounded pretty good.
