Best Melvins opener ever?

Hmmm. BB were awfully good in '06 when the sets merged and first Dale and then Buzz joined them onstage at the end of their opening set to form the first live incarnation of Big Belvins. Those shows were amazing. But yeah, Le Butcherettes were incredible, might be the most fun I've had watching an opening band who wasn't, uh, also in the band? hmm.

In '03 when Dalek opened, Kevin and Dale came out and played with them on their last song, and I think Buzz came out eventually too (memory's a little foggy) They made alot of noise,  Kevin had on some kind of s&m mask and Dale was in his lingerie. They just got louder and noisier as the dj pretty much destroyed his tuntables. That was pretty cool. First time seeing both, and became an instant Dalek fan.

Did they play "Moving to Florida" or "Eyes on You"?
Moving to florida! Was absolutely amazing buzz was extremely into it that night I've never seen him so into a show other than watching videos of him in the late 80's early 90's

I wasn't familiar with the song before that week, but he was totally into it.
It was like watching a great method actor.

It's one of my favorite BHS songs and I bet Buzz pulls off those lyrics and goofy twisted voice like a champ. Actually I bet he sings it more twisted than Gibby. Dammit! Why do they hate the icy, windy, snowy, cold as fuck Winter? I'm praying for a Spring tour.
Anyone seen any video of the full song pop up yet? I think all I've seen was just a minute of it and I wanted more!

i don't know why but Buzz singing style in that song reminds me of Jello Biafra

Fucking badass! Thank you. He really is channeling Gibby. I'm surprised he doesn't play there guitar though but then again it's pretty cool being even more stripped down sounding.

He should do more of it, I say. His voice is so unique, it's about as distinctive as the dual guitars of Judas Priest.
