i was expecting Big Biz to be back for this show but this pic confuses me a lot. i see a second kit...but Dale is playing a kit without bass drum mmmh
Does he have a pedal hitting that upside down floor Tom?
Yes. He does.

That drum kit is so strange. I hope someone caught the whole show.

Definitely curious about this set as a whole. Wonder if it'll escalate into a tour with this exact setup...

UGH!! That was awesome! I wanna see more! And can someone please explain to me wtf is going on with Dales kit. It's a crazy little set up and I'm not grasping the kick/floor tom thingy. I hope someday I'll be able to see a Melvins Extra Lite set!

I hope it does.

dale has adjusted the bass pedal mallet assembly to be reversed so that
its striking the bottom skin of the floor tom on a backswing rather than
forward as it would on a conventional bass drum. something like this kit:

Dark Brown Teeth sounds amazing w/ Dale!
Very cool.
Is Ian back yet??

It was interesting at 3:27 in Evil New War God that Dale seemed to momentarily forget what came next. I guess being used to playing it a certain way and then having to perform both his and Coady's solo parts there could easily confuse someone.

I was surprised at how well they pulled off "Great Balls of Fire" spontaneously.

That drum solo was the shit though.
