It was interesting at 3:27 in Evil New War God that Dale seemed to momentarily forget what came next. I guess being used to playing it a certain way and then having to perform both his and Coady's solo parts there could easily confuse someone.

I know! When i saw the video untitled i thought it might have been a new song. To find out it was The Bloated Pope was equally disappointing and great! One of my utmost Melvins songs actually.

I know what you mean. I was thinking new song too, maybe? Then when I realize it was The Bloated Pope I was kinda like "dammit!" but yeah The Bloated Pope is right up there near the top for me so it was still awesome.

I love that Dale just wants to rock. You can tell he's probably thinking "God, would you shut UP!" during Buzz's ranting . 30 plus years, I'm sure he's heard everything times two! I really hope this snowballs into a tour or an album with this setup. We've all seen Dale pull off some nice nuances and now with Buzz's acoustic tour/album we got to see some of Buzz's nuance in a form never before. I just wish I could have been there just to hear Dark Brown Teeth and The Bloated Pope (Dales solo is so tits O.M.G.), oh and Electric Flower. You can't tell what's going on with Buzz and his guitar in a lot of the stuff. I'm sure standing right there Buzz's guitar sound is just as powerful as Dale's.
Also I wish that dude on the left would step over a bit so we can see Dales entire kit. Fucker. That kit is just the bees knees and I love how he plays it so effortlessly behind that kit.

I know it's not the record store, that's their practice space DUH! That still doesn't answer what they're doing and more importantly...WHY?

They may be in rehearsals for their Observatory, Santa Ana gig next month.  Dale said that Jarred and Cody would be playing with them.  I saw Jarred with his baby in tow at Permanent Records.  I did not see Cody (though that doesn't mean he wasn't there).  It was packed in and out of the shop.

Good news! I'm ready for some more four piece action.
Also thanks for the pic. Pretty nice. How much were they going for?

I was thinking the same! It gets on my nerves hearing artists talk between songs. I know many people like to hear the stories Buzz tells but i find it very unnecessary myself.

No way! I love it when Buzz bullshits in between songs. I wish he did it more often - he is a funny motherfucker.
