Ugh. The GR show was sold out by the time I got to looking into it.

Kinda thinking about going to Pine Knob tonight but it's not really nearby and I have to work a double starting early tomorrow.

Real bummed about this.

the only comforting news I can give you is that Pine Knob (DTE) shows have to be over by 11:00 pm.     so you'll be home at a decent hour especially if you skate after MELVINS.   shit.. you'll be home by dinner.

I just got a facebook message from a 23 year old daughter of a friend who went to the System of a Down show last night.    it says "I don't know the melvins music but they sounded awesome".         It appears we may have another believer.    I'll keep her clear of DC.

I got there around 4:30pm. They were well under way. They were done around 5pm.

Interesting getup on Teri:

She started the show in Tucson with it on her head, like a turbine/ I dream of genie type thing.
Playing keyboard on the first song. Then when she switched to guitar, it fell off and got caught on the patch chord. But she wasn't bothered by it.
