Updated to reflect the Bunkhouse cancellation and Coady's update on instagram. coadyscottwillis: So I messed up. Vancouver is on Sept 5, Seattle on the 6th...

buddy holiday

eventhough I would have liked to see the line-up with Pinkus I am looking very much forward to seeing this version of the melvins again.
the fact that they will play two special sets in tilburg hints that they might rehearse some songs which they have not yet performed live with this line-up. hopefully this line-up change will mix-up the setlist!

If they don't come as a threepiece to Europe it will be a massive downer.

drumfreak:)

I want a three piece :(
The Biz guys are really cool but....Melvins with Jeff definetly have some Heavyass vibe that they havent had since Rutmanis...
Has two bands with ridicolous names.

I've never really understood this desire to keep the Melvins as a 3 piece.  Sure, a lot of the material recorded as a 4 piece was up-tempo, but they are plenty heavy when they choose to be.

I just love the fact that they are rotating the lineup and keeping it fresh (no matter who they have filling out the rhythm section).  I was quite happy to hear that they would have a different lineup compared to last time they played in Portland.  Don't get wrong, I loved seeing Le Butcherettes and Pinkus on the last tour, but I'm really glad I'll see a different show than I did last October.
