It seems that I say it each and every time I see them but last night was one of my favorite Melvins experiences ever.  Big Biz killed it as usual.  They are so much fun to just sit there and watch.  I still don't have the newest album so that might be why I didn't recognize some of the songs.  I will remedy that ASAP.

I can totally understand some people's comments about Melvins not changing up the set much lately and I'm always up to hear random songs that I haven't heard in ages but at the same time I am in no way sick of any of the songs they have been doing because they do them so fucking well.  Was happy to get some BigMelv songs that I haven't seen in a while (Civilized Worm!!!).  Dale and Coady are a fucking machine....anytime I even come close to being impartial to the BigMelv thing, I see them live and all is right with the world.  Pretty sure in the 20+ times I've seen them it was the first that they didn't play Night Goat.  Some people have commented that they are getting sick of Water Glass, I'm actually falling in love with it more and more each time I see it, and I wasn't so into it when I first got BSM.  The Bit always makes me smile and YoA was awesome.

Already looking forward to the next time which might be soon.  I brought a first timer to the show last night.  A few months back he actually gave me his hardcover of NHNT.  I asked him why he didn't want it and he said he just wasn't into them.  I asked if he'd ever seen them live which was obviously no. I gladly accepted the book but told him I'd buy him a ticket the next time they came through. He walked away last night very happy and impressed.

And I'll echo the compliments on your pics.  There was a few times I was standing out in the crowd and something in the corner of my eye would catch my attention and it was like Idle's head was popping out like a sideways jack-in-the-box.

I was off to the way right by the stairs that go down to the bar during BigBiz but I could hear that dickface.  Never been in a fight in my life and I'll make sure the first one doesn't happen at a Melvins show.  I hate people so much....
